Reticulated Pythons are the ultimate in snakes. The largest, most widely ranging, and most genetically diverse snake species in the world, these are a solid choice for the experienced keeper. Typically avergaing 12 - 22 feet (males rarely exceeding 16') from normal populations; insular dwarf populations (and some genetic mutations associated with small size) do exist, but even these have the potential to reach sizes rarely matched amongst the pythons, particularly as captive bred specimens. If you're experienced with the smaller species and prepared for the ultimate, these are the best! We have offered these types in the past: Albino, Ambon Yellow Head, Amelanistic, Calico, Jampea Dwarf, Pastel, Silver, Striped, and Sulawesi. These typically feed exceptionally well, and ours usually eat anything and everything live or frozen. For the most part we offer unproven unusual morph babies and locality babies from Ambon Island and Sulawesi, though we have drastically reduced the numbers we work with annually - we now get 3 to 5 a year, mostly Sulawesi's. All the legislation being taken up to ban large constrictors has certainly put a dent in the marketability of the species, so we have become just that much more selective about the animals we keep and sell.
